Veterinarian wanted full or part time for our three DVM companion animal and exotics practice. We are a well established progressive hospital that strives to provide the highest quality medicine and surgery to all our patients. Dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, amphibians, and small mammals as well as wildlife and zoo animals.
Our goal as a hospital is to provide individualized preventive care and the most current diagnostic and treatment options for our clients and patients, as well as excellent client service. Many of our clients have been with us for decades, and we want to keep it that way!
We have excellent diagnostic equipment that includes digital radiography, digital dental radiography, rigid endoscopy with videoscope, a brand new ultrasound unit, and in house chemistry analyzer.
Our support staff are highly trained and competent. DVM to tech ratio is 2.5-3:1. Experienced licensed veterinary technicians perform all radiographs, venipuncture, cystocentesis, dental prophylaxis, and anything else within their legal and individual capability.
Your schedule can be flexible, and we aim for 35 hours/week for our full time staff including DVMs. After hours emergencies are referred to a local emergency clinic.
We are happy to mentor a new graduate, and we are active in providing preceptorships for veterinary and vet tech students. An interest in feline medicine, dentistry, behavior, or alternative medicine would be a plus.
Green Bay is a family friendly community with excellent social and cultural opportunities as well as outdoor recreation (and of course, the Packers!)
Your salary is negotiable, generally with a guaranteed base and production percentage. We provide health insurance, liability insurance, 401K, paid CE, paid licenses, and will pay some relocation expenses.
