Lake Street Animal Hospital is seeking a Medical Director to join our progressive practice
Every hospital needs a leader with the drive to help the practice reach its potential. As Lake Street’s Medical Director, you will be responsible for providing medical leadership and establishing an environment that promotes teamwork, the practice of quality medicine, and exceptional client service. In partnership with the Hospital Manager, you will also ensure strong financial performance, regulatory compliance, and operations of the hospital.

About the hospital:
AAHA accredited since 1995
State of the art facility: newly expanded facility with 5 exam rooms (1 is feline exclusive), a pharmacy, and a state of the art dental suite
First-class resources and services: In-house laboratory capabilities (Idexx Catalyst, Procyte and Sedivue), partnership with IDEXX referral laboratory, and orthopedic surgery and advanced dentistry
High-end equipment: In-house ultrasound, digital radiograph, therapeutic laser and the newest version of AVImark computer system with electronic medical records
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university
Licensure in good standing to practice in the state in which applicant is to be employed
Leadership experience a plus but not necessary as we do offer training for DVMs wanting to be a Medical Director
