Equine practice seeking dependable, hard working and friendly Veterinary Technicians. We provide our clients with professional, compassionate and ethical care. Our facility is specifically designed to accommodate all manners of equine veterinary and surgical services. The practice is located in Driftwood, Texas, 35 minutes from downtown Austin.

Job Duties:
- Assist veterinarians during examinations and treatment.
- Perform or assist with diagnostics (x-rays, ultrasound, & shockwave).
- Collect and deliver lab samples.
- Horse handling/restraint during examinations and treatment.
- Daily cleaning and maintenance duties.
- Restock exam rooms, pharmacy, and field vehicles.
- Communicate with clients and doctors.
- Load, unload, and set up equipment.
- Prepare and maintain various records and reports.
- Inspect and clean field vehicles and equipment; report maintenance issues to Veterinarians and respond as directed.
- Assist as needed with the care of horses housed at the clinic, including feeding/watering, cleaning stalls, holding areas, yard areas, and general housekeeping duties.
- This position does require cleaning duties, its very important the clinic stay clean visually. 

Technician experience is not required, knowledge of horses is required. Strong benefit package, great work environment and team atmosphere.

Job Schedule: Full Time schedule (40 hours): weekends are required.
