Pooler Veterinary Hospital, located on the southeast Georgia coast, near Savannah, is seeking a full-time associate veterinarian interested in practicing small animal wellness, medicine, and surgery. Experienced veterinarians or new grads are welcome to apply, but must enjoy working up, and collaborating on, in-depth medical and surgical cases, as well as routine preventative medicine. No after-hours emergency. A specialty group nearby offers fully staffed after-hours ER, and daytime Oncology, Surgery, Internal Medicine, and Ophthalmology.

In addition to four experienced veterinarians, we employ a supportive staff of trained RVT's and competent assistants allowing you to focus on obtaining a diagnosis and implementing a comprehensive treatment plan while emphasizing patient care and client education. We have a diagnostic based approach, which our clients support, and have come to expect. Our digitally integrated medical records, full in-house diagnostic lab, digital full body and intra-oral radiography, ultrasound capabilities (abdominal and echocardiography), EKG, Doppler, and efficient tele-medicine capabilities, will allow you to provide answers to your clients questions. Our ICU has automated treatment updates, patient warmers, fluid pumps, and our surgical suites contain anything you will need to perform most procedures; routine soft tissue packs, eye packs, surgical laser, orthopedic instrumentation, suction, surgical laser, and high-speed dental unit. We advocate safe anesthetic practices and monitoring, while performing routine and advanced soft tissue and orthopedic procedures. We are always open to new services and willing to accommodate your specific interests if the resources are not available within our facility

Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from an accredited university
Georgia State Accreditation ( May be obtained if position is offered)

We are able to perform in-house ultrasound (including echocardiogram), blood analysis, urine analysis, coagulation times, general cytology, etc. We also have digital dental and general radiography, CO2 surgical laser, orthopedic air driven instrumentation and advanced fixation resources. We are a digital file formate practice, which is efficient and allows easy digital transmission for consultation with specialists regarding patient diagnostics and care.
