Are you looking for work-life balance and an opportunity to hone your medical skills? Brentwood Veterinary Clinic is looking for a full-time, small animal veterinarian to join our family! We are a growing three doctor practice that has been serving the Chesapeake community since 1949. We do not require offer any on call or overnight shifts, thanks to neighboring emergency clinics, but we do offer high-quality medicine and customer service. We are seeking someone who is upbeat and interested in bringing new ideas to help us continue advancing the practice.
The clinic has full, in-house lab work capabilities (Idexx Procyte, Catalyst), digital radiographs, digital dental radiographs, and a surgical suite with suction, cautery, and digital anesthesia monitoring. Our hospital is in suburban, southeastern Virginia, and whether you like beaches or mountains, we have both close by! There are plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy on your days off, along with concerts and festivals that frequent our city.
We offer a generous benefits package with salary options available, including medical/vision/dental, life insurance, paid time off, uniforms, 401K, continuing education, and licensing fees and dues. New graduates welcome. In this position, you will have an opportunity for continuous support, resources, and advancement. We believe that sharing knowledge throughout our community will allow hospitals to practice a higher level of medicine. We capitalize on our unique mix of General Practice and Specialty/ER hospitals to further the quality of medicine through our medical mentorship program, where associates can learn and receive CE credit in their hospital from one of our board-certified surgeons and one of our anesthesiologists. We also have an intranet discussion forum, a specialist directory, and resources like our Area Leader program and a Medical Advisory Board.
