The West Salem Veterinary clinic is comprised of 5 Veterinarians, excellent technicians and client service staff who provide high quality medicine and great client service.Our team believes in treating each pet as the most important patient, each client as the most important client, and each staff member as the most important staff member. About the hospital
Small Animal (83% dogs and cats and some pocket pets)
Large Animal (18% focusing mainly on dairy production medicine, plus other LA)
Digital CR and dental radiology
Complete in-house Idexx lab
Ultrasound (reproduction ultrasound as well for large animal)
2 vehicles for large animal services
Our ideal candidate:
Be proficient in routine small animal medicine & be proficient in dairy medicine including wellness exams, vaccinations, dentistry, internal medicine and nutrition.Interest in dairy reproduction a plus.
Dairy palpation experience ideal and interest in Dairy Herd Health Management
Experience preferred.Exceptional new graduates with strong dairy back ground also encourage to apply.

We are located in Western Wisconsin in the beautiful Coulee Region, just miles from the Mississippi, Black, and La Crosse Rivers. (Tri River area). This is an excellent area for all outdoor activities in all seasons. There are 8 colleges within 50 miles of La Crosse.
Skills and Qualifications
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university
Licensure in good standing to practice in the state in which applicant is to be employed
Federal Accreditation in Large and Small Animal Medicine
