| Heart of Georgia Animal Care is looking for an Associate Veterinarian at a high volume, mixed animal practice located in Milledgeville, Ga. We practice in a spacious 7,300 square foot facility with 3 exam rooms, a large surgical suite with 3 surgery tables, an extra-large treatment space with ICU, and a dental area with MIDMARK Vet Pro 1000. Diagnostic capabilities include digital radiography, endoscopy, tonometry, blood pressure, pulse oximetry, and electrocardiography. Two laboratory stations are available for performing CBC, chemistry, blood gas, electrolyte profiles, and urinalysis. Also available is a cold laser therapy unit. We are a paperless practice, and you will find multiple computer terminals in our work areas. Heart of Georgia is proud of our large group of support staff that consists of specifically designated exam room, ICU, and surgery technicians. We have a large client base and our clinic is growing! We provide emergency services for current clients at your discretion; emergency on-call is NOT required as we actively support a healthy work-life balance. Heart of GA is part of the PetVet Care Centers group. We leave medical protocol and inventory decisions up to our local DVMs. Milledgeville is 30 miles northeast of Macon, and is Georgia’s Antebellum Capital.
