New Graduate or Experienced DVM for a collegial state of the art small animal hospital east of Irvine Our six veterinarian small animal hospital in Norco, 19 miles east of Irvine, is a state of the art small animal facility and is rated the best hospital in the area. Norco Animal Hospital has a unique culture that puts your needs as a veterinarian as a top priority. We cater to your needs, not the other way around. We get you the tools, resources, and support you need to thrive as a professional. We are open to an experienced veterinarian or confident new graduate for full or part-time. There is always someone there to teach and mentor. High caseload. Ideal schedule would be 4 10 hour shifts. However, we are flexible for the right person and this could be a part-time position at 32 hours with full benefits. There is no emergency call. We have 6 RVTs and each veterinarian gets their own dedicated RVT. At year three, there is the possibility of buy-in. Our area, the Inland Empire, is known for riding, hot springs, hiking and slower pace of living. Recently one of our regular vendors said, “I’m just amazed at the comradery and collaboration between the veterinarians with your hospital manager. It’s quite a team!” Other benefits: -one of our veterinarians is a board-certified internal medicine doctor and he does teaching rounds monthly; we also have monthly online classes with him and other experts; -collaboration with 5 other experienced veterinarians, -each veterinarian has their own dedicated RVT, - Equipment includes digital whole body and dental x-ray, ultrasound, anesthesia monitoring, electronic medical records and more. -support innovative ideas of how to grow the practice (you get a quarterly allowance to buy equipment that you may need for a special interest, etc.), -possible part ownership or retention bonus at year 3, -educational support for professional interests in addition to CE (ie ultrasound classes, advanced dental classes, monthly CE), -create your salary with our support to meet your family and personal needs, -four ten-hour days. Qualities we are looking for in an associate is: -excellent clinical and communication skills, -ability to connect and show compassion to clients, pets, and staff, -enjoying the work and having fun, -ability to think outside the box and innovate. Generous compensation ranging from $100K to $160K depending on experience plus production, health insurance, 401K plan, 50% discount on pet services, continuing education, membership dues, licensing fees and relocations expenses.
