Confident yet humble veterinarian wanted for small animal hospital.
Do you really love general practice, but maybe your heart yearns for the warm and fuzzy feeling a non-profit delivers?
Or maybe those student loans seem endless, and you are interested in qualifying for loan forgiveness while still living in the general practice mindset with competitive pay?
If so, then read on. We have the perfect position for you.
Boston Veterinary Care is currently seeking a full time doctor to fit our team and culture. The team mentality is our most valuable asset and helps us achieve our mission; with all of the profits from our hospital benefiting the shelter pets of the Animal Rescue League of Boston.
This unicorn position also includes:
Working with a great team and great equipment but in very tight quarters.
Tons and tons of dentistry, IF you want it to. If surgery isn’t your thing, that’s okay too.
Low stress handling, no scruffing of cats happening here
Comprehensive benefits; Health, Dental, and Vision insurance, CE benefits, and 11 paid holidays! Plus, so much more.
32-hour work week, set 4-day schedule, and zero on call
We want you to have a work/life balance. Seriously, we do. If you want more hours, we can likely accommodate more if needed.
Wanting you to be a confident leader, but leaving the ego at the door
Real lunch breaks and getting out on time-and if you are feeling social, joining the team for drinks and laughter after work when you need it
Not production based, so while generating revenue is important, it isn’t everything. We want you happy and we want to help the programs in our mission
Ideally a veterinarian with at least 1 yr. of experience and dental experience a plus, but would be willing to give a new graduate a chance if they were the right fit.
