Family oriented multi-doctor mixed animal practice is seeking a Compassionate and Progressive Veterinarian to join our team. We are located in Southwestern Ohio within minutes of the enchanting Village of Yellow Springs and beautiful Clifton Gorge. Wright-Patterson Air Force Base adds to a diverse population and provides stable economic support even in tough economic times.
Veterinary Associates is proud to offer our patients progressive care including Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine, Veterinary Spinal Manipulation (aka chiropractic) Cold Laser and Canine Rehabilitation Therapies. We support the interests of our associates and maintain certification in the aforementioned modalities. We have digital radiography including digital dental radiography, a new ultrasound machine, Cardell anesthesia monitoring, two companion animal lasers and advanced in house diagnostics. The practice is 75% dogs and cats, with beef, small ruminant, swine and equine (pleasure, Standardbred racing) to round out the balance. We have provided veterinary service to our county fair for over 40 years and support 4-H through our annual scholarships and client education. Our team includes 3 licensed veterinary technicians, assistants and we are currently in the process of having all members of our team Fear Free Certified and have an associate who is one of the only Low Stress Handling (Sophia Yin) Certified Veterinarians in our area . Veterinary Associates also has a professional Life/Business Coach on retainer that works closely with our practice and every member of our team has direct access to our Coach. We offer a competitive salary based on experience with 401K (matched), CE allowance, professional association dues, professional liability, disability, health insurance, membership to VIN, and paid vacation. We do offer large and limited small animal emergencies to our clients. This position would be ideally full time salary with production bonus, but other opportunities may exist for the right applicant. We are open to new graduates and always willing to integrate new ideas. |
