New England Animal Medical Center , located in West Bridgewater, Massachusetts--30 miles south of Boston, is looking to add an Emergency Veterinarian to fill a full time position in our emergency and critical care department.
We are interested in speaking with experienced ER DVMs, internship trained DVMs, and new grads or GP DVMs who have an interest in emergency medicine. ER Mentorship is available!
NEAMC is a large, cohesive practice with emergency, specialty and general practice divisions that work together to provide optimal care for each patient. Our team consists of experienced emergency clinicians, as well as specialists in emergency critical care, surgery, internal medicine and certified veterinary technicians. We have consulting cardiology and consulting radiology. NEAMC has already recently added an Urgent Care service Sunday through Thursday, which we are hoping to expand to offer 7 days per week.
Advanced monitoring equipment, an in house full service laboratory (CBC/Chem/EPOC electrolytes, PT/PTT, blood typing, and crossmatching), Newport Breeze ventilator, in house blood bank, temperature controlled oxygen cages, video flexible and rigid endoscopy, color flow Doppler ultrasound, laparoscopy, Idexx digital radiography and CT allow for progressive medicine. We sponsor a rotating internship, as well as residency programs in emergency/critical care medicine and small animal surgery.
Our practice fosters the continuing education of our doctors with in-house teaching rounds, twice daily case rounds and meetings by the local VMA. If you want to work in a collegial environment that cultivates your growth as a clinician, please apply!
