AnimERge is looking for an Emergency Veterinarian to join our amazing team!
AnimERge is an AAHA accredited specialty and emergency referral center in Raritan, New Jersey. At AnimERge, we aren’t just a work team, we are a family! We have many long-term staff, with some being here for over 20 years. The dynamic at this hospital is one of fun, team-work, and collaboration. The ER team works closely with our Board Certified Surgeon, Internist, Cardiologist, Ophthalmologist, and Dermatologist, so every case gets the best care possible. We also know a well fed staff is a happy staff and routinely organize themed food days/nights.
Our ER schedule is usually 3 12-13 hour shifts per week, with morning, swing, and overnight veterinarians scheduled to provide overlapping coverage. We also schedule an additional doctor on Sundays to help manage the increased weekend caseload. New(er) grads would be scheduled on shifts where they would always have access to another experienced clinician who is happy to provide mentorship. You will also be well supported by highly skilled certified technicians, who are all trained in Fear Free handling. Part time and Relief shifts also available!
Our hospital is fully equipped with digital x-rays, ultrasound, an in house lab (Heska and Idexx machines - CBC, chemistry analyzer, blood gas, electrolytes, coagulation panels, and SNAP test reader), feline and canine endoscopy, 4 oxygen cages, and a separate ER surgical suite. Although we do have a boarded surgeon, our ER doctors have the ability to perform their own surgeries. You can learn more about our hospital at https://animergevets.com/.
