Amherst Animal Hospital (AAH) is an independent and highly regarded small animal practice in Southern NH. If you are a dedicated practitioner, who is passionate about veterinary medicine and seeking to fully utilize your skills in a patient-focused setting, we are looking for you!

AAH has been serving clients and their beloved pets for over 40 years. Every dog and cat (and an occasional rabbit) is treated as an individual – all medical care is tailored to the specific case – including preventative care, medical therapies, and anesthetic and surgical procedures. All staff members uphold our very high standards of care and professional responsibility.

Our doctors collaborate daily about all aspects of patient treatment and testing, including radiograph review, interpretation of blood work and other testing, advising when to refer, utilizing newer therapies, surgical approaches to unusual procedures, in-house cytologies, urinalyses, fecals, and dermatologic cases. We also benefit from weekly in-house consultations from a mobile internist and a cardiologist.
