Equine Sports Medicine & Surgery Weatherford Division, PLLC (“ESMS”) is seeking a Reproduction and Ambulatory Associate at our referral hospital in Weatherford, Texas.  The selected candidate will primarily assist with reproduction and foaling mares at a large breeding facility in Parker County, Texas.

ESMS is a large and growing 100% equine practice. Our hospital is state-of-the-art, employing  nine veterinarians, including three boarded surgeons and a boarded Internist, and providing 24-hour emergency, critical care, and surgical services.  We have an excellent team, including  several RVTs / CVTs, skilled anesthetists, and a large well-trained support staff. 

ESMS is a very progressive practice utilizing the latest technologies such as digital radiology/ultrasound, endoscopy, reproductive emergencies (including dystocia), Aqua-tread, ESWT, Stem Cell & IRAP, hyperbaric oxygen therapy and dentistry. 

Requirements - We seek an energetic, team-oriented associate who is eager to grow the practice.  Must have excellent communication and people skills, a strong work ethic, and a desire to provide exceptional client service.  The successful applicant will have experience and special training in equine reproduction, will possess a DVM or equivalent and eligibility for licensure in Texas.   Certifications in reproduction, dentistry, chiropractics, or acupuncture are a plus.
