We are looking for a full OR part-time veterinarian to add to our practice.  Looking for someone who enjoys practicing medicine and is looking for the opportunity to work in a small animal practice environment with excellent support staff.   Most of our staff has been with us 20+ years and makes your job so much easier.  We have extensive faithful clientele with steady growth that we are struggling to accommodate due to needing another veterinarian.  We still follow COVID protocols requiring masking, but are not curbside.  We would be willing to discuss full-time (40hours weekly) OR part-time(whatever hours you would be interested in working).  Our practice is open daily 8-5.  We are closed Saturdays and have two local emergency clinics to cover after-hours and weekend needs.  

The owner has been at the practice for 30 years and our associate veterinarian has been here for 10years.  The workflow is highly organized which allows a smooth appointment from start to finish.  We provide a range of veterinary services including wellness care, soft tissue surgeries, dentals, ultrasound, extensive in-house laboratory, digital radiography, laser therapy and behavioral counseling.  Surgery/dentals are optional and there is flexibility depending on your comfort zone.  We have a dedicated surgical technician for assisting in all procedures as well as monitoring post-operatively.  

Salary is negotiable. We currently pay on an hourly basis plus provide numerous benefits including BC/BS health insurance, 120 hours paid time off yearly, paid holidays paid liability insurance, AVMA and NePVMA memberships, Sep-IRA Contributions, and greatly discounted rates for staff pets and procedures. 

The practice is located just North of Scranton, Pennsylvania, 5 mins from Interstate 81.  There are lots of outdoor activities available at state parks, ski areas and trails nearby.  Lots of local restaurants and its only a short drive to Philadelphia and New York City.  Its a great area to raise a family with the opportunity of long-term employment and potential for partnership or eventual ownership.
