Hopewell Veterinary Hospital is in search of a full and/or part time veterinarian to join us in providing high-quality, compassionate veterinary care.  Hopewell Veterinary Hospital has over 60 years of history serving the community, located in a historic former farmhouse in a suburban setting just outside of Philadelphia.  We pride ourselves on nurturing long-term relationships with clients and their pets.

Join us! We are looking for a veterinarian who is dedicated to skillful medical care, thoughtful in communication with clients, and ready to be a part of a great, collaborative group of doctors.  Our team includes certified veterinary technicians, experienced technical assistants, and dedicated customer service staff.  The hospital has digital radiography, in-house laboratory, ultrasound and electronic medical records.

Both experienced veterinarians and new graduates are encouraged to apply!  Hours are flexible, a full-time, 4 day a week schedule is possible.  Saturday hours (8am-1pm) are shared (one per month).  We do not have overnight or Sunday hours.  Mentoring is available if desired.   Salary is a competitive, negotiable base plus production.  Benefits include: health and dental insurance, employee assistance program (EAP), 401k with 3% employer contribution, paid professional liability insurance, dues and a continuing education allowance.

Great location with something for everyone!  Jenkintown has cute shops and restaurants to enjoy.  Within a mile of the hospital you can walk or bike the Pennypack rail-trail, 16 miles along a beautiful creek side corridor connecting Philadelphia, Montgomery and Bucks counties. Nearby, you can ski or hike in the Pocono mountains or take the train into historic center city Philadelphia to enjoy museums and concerts.  Go a little further and you can day trip to New York City or the Jersey shore!
