Cheatham County Animal Clinic is located in beautiful Ashland City, Tennessee, about 35 minutes north of Nashville and 20 minutes from Clarksville. We are a well established, privately owned, full service small animal clinic. We offer high quality medicine and surgery for our patients. We offer an awesome schedule, working four days a week with two consecutive days off and a five day weekend (Fri-Tues) once a month. There is no after hours emergency.
Dr. Tracy Dilmore, our current owner, has been here since 2005 and purchased the clinic in 2019. Dr. Gina Calvo Sandor, our associate veterinarian has been on staff since 2015. Our support staff is amazing, many have been with us for 4+ years. A typical day includes at least 2 support staff per doctor. Hours for the doctors are 8-5:30 M-F and 8-1 Sat, no Sunday hours. Each doctor will have 1-2 surgery days a week. Starting salary is $90,000 with the option to make over $100,000 with production. Pro-Sal is 22% with no negative accrual. Pro-Sal can be paid monthly or bi-annually. There is also a $10,000 sign on bonus.
We are happy to hire both new graduates and seasoned veterinarians. We love to teach and also to learn! We offer payment for all dues, VIN, DEA, a CE allowance, and 2 weeks paid vacation.

Cheatham County Animal Clinic is a busy, full service, small animal practice located in the quaint town of Ashland City, Tennessee. While enjoying the picturesque river, rolling hills, walking trails, and down home feeling, you can be in downtown Nashville or the heart of Clarksville in approximately 30 minutes. The clinic has been in business since 1983, resulting in a well established clientele, as well as, a rapidly growing new clientele. Here at Cheatham County Animal Clinic, we offer routine surgery, dental procedures, MLS laser therapy, digital x-ray, in-house diagnostics, routine care visits, boarding, and grooming services. We have an amazing support staff. It is of utmost importance to us for all of our staff to be able to have a work/life balance, function as a team, and to be a positive role model for each other. Our doctors do not do after hours visits, we refer to one of the amazing emergency clinics in Nashville & Clarksville. Our doctors work on a rotating schedule that allows them to have two consecutive days off each week, as well as, a five day weekend once per month.
