Are you looking for an AAHA-accredited and Certified Feline Friendly hospital to practice medicine alongside an experienced support staff? Then come join us at Happy Valley Veterinary Hospital! We are currently looking for a full-time or part-time veterinarian with NO on-call or after-hours. You will be working alongside two other veterinarians that have a very collaborative relationship. We see canines, felines, and pocket pets. Ideally, we are looking for someone with experience with pocket pets (mainly ferrets, gerbils, hamsters, and occasionally chickens) or who has an interest in working with them but not mandatory.
Our hospital is AAHA-accredited and Certified Feline Friendly. We are proud to have a beautiful progressive facility including ultrasound, digital radiograph, digital dental x-ray, in-house labs, Cubex Inventory Management machine, and a full surgery suite. If desired, a full surgery day can be part of the schedule.
Highlights of our Hospital:
Our Culture - We have a large staff of long-term, cross-trained, extremely motivated assistants, receptionists, and CVTs. When hiring someone to join our team, we focus on five core values: Reliable, Eager, shows Awareness, Confident, and Humble. Focusing on these core values has created a very positive work environment and culture. Our team works hard every day while also showing kindness to both their teammates and clients. We are looking for a veterinarian that will uphold those core values and be a leader within the hospital.
Our Clients - Happy Valley is a beautiful, booming suburb of Portland. We are located in an affluent neighborhood but only a few miles from large farming areas. We have a large client base with thousands of long-term clients. Offering Care Companion Wellness Plans to our clients allows us to be able to actively be a part of our patients' lives - often seeing them from puppy/kitten to end of life.
Our Doctors - Collaboration is what we strive for. We focus on having strong communication and making decisions as a team. Monthly manager/doctor meetings and staff meetings allow us to set goals and educate our assistants so we can be a cohesive team across the board.
We offer:
- Competitive Salary
