Receive hands-on clinical experience in all aspects of small animal medicine, dentistry and surgery at this progressive practice, with 3 veterinarians and experienced support staff. Exposure to all aspects of diagnostics, medical, dental and surgical care along with integrative veterinary modalities will enhance your clinical experience.

In addition to conventional treatments and ultrasound, CT and other diagnostics, we provide PT, acupuncture, therapeutic massage, TCVM, IASTM, Kinesiotaping, surgery, dentistry, animal chiropractic, ozone therapy and lots more. Externships and Internships available with housing at our Progressive, small animal practice, located north of Pittsburgh, PA. We have 2 facilities. Openings for veterinary student externs available year round with free housing at our in-clinic furnished apartment.

We also will provide professional evaluations for students who desire a DVM College required externship rotation.

We accept students for 2 week through 12 week externships. We recommend 4 weeks or longer when your schedule allows, as you will gain more experience and be able to learn how to manage ongoing geriatric, internal medicine, physical therapy and oncology cases through integrative approaches and see the results of therapy..

Applications for clinical rotations through December 2023 will be accepted. Summer positions available immediately. Gain experience working with patients and clients, while refining medical, surgical and dental skills.

We offer many diagnostic tools, including CT, dental radiography, in house laboratory, diagnostic ultrasound and a variety of treatment modalities, including In house Stem Cell and PRP, alternative cancer treatments, immunotherapy, acupuncture, chiropractic, underwater treadmill, NAET, herbology, homeopathy, nutritional therapy, integrative and rehab medicine.

Available position blocks: May 2022 - December 2023 (contact us ASAP to secure times for apartment availability). We can provide prior students/DVMs as references for the practice and its accommodations.

Current veterinary students, veterinary technician students and those with recent acceptance into an accredited veterinary program are encouraged to apply.

We also provide clinical internships for new and recent grads, with mentorship from our experienced DVMs. We pair well with highly motivated DVMs who possess a desire to learn how integrative medicine improves professional diagnostic skills and case outcomes.
