Seeking an independent, compassionate Veterinarian to join our team!
Why Animal Health Care Denver in Denver, CO?
Animal Health Care Denver is a locally owned, well established animal veterinary practice in Denver dedicated to taking care of pets within the community when they need it most. We offer a full range of medical services, including preventative care such as annual exams and vaccines, dental care including polishing, cleaning and extractions, radiography including CT and ultrasound, and surgical procedures including both elective (spay/neuter) and emergency surgeries.
Animal Health Care Denver is home to Dr. Cathryn Sayer, who has led the practice since 2014. Dr. Sayer and her staff strive to provide each pet with everything they need for a happy and healthy life. Under Dr. Sayer’s direction, we provide general veterinary medicine, dental care, specialty CT services, and both elective and emergency surgeries. Our hospital is equipped with digital radiography, digital dental radiography, ultrasound, a Vimago 3D Computer Tomography Scanner, and in-house labs, offering all of the diagnostic tools needed for our team to succeed!
Through Dr. Sayer's leadership and experience, combined with our diagnostic equipment, we are also able to offer mentorship to new graduates who are interested in joining our team.
Our Commitment to Diversity:
We are dedicated to establishing a culture that celebrates all forms of diversity and allows us to be an inclusive service provider in this community.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a Veterinarian who has a passion not only for dogs and cats, but is enthusiastic about creating relationships with our patients' human parents. If you are committed to providing excellent patient care through primary care, dentistry and surgery, prefer to work in a community hospital setting with an experienced and dedicated team, and are willing to create open and compassionate communication with clients, we would love to have you join our family at Animal Health Care Denver.
Partnership Opportunities!
We are proud to offer additional growth opportunities for Associate DVMs through our partnership with Veterinary Practice Partners (VPP). VPP has Veterinarian owners that co-own their individual practices across 90+ locations. It is important to note that many of our partners never owned part of a veterinary clinic until VPP became a co-owner. VPP is uniquely aligned with our partner veterinarians to help them achieve their goals for their practice and their goals for their careers. VPP partnerships thrive through:
- Our complementary skill sets—VPP’s operational, marketing, and business acumen and our partners’ clinical and client expertise—to help our practices grow, while also affording our partners more time to follow their passion for medicine and service.
- Continued investment in its support team to drive growth, cost savings and enhanced benefits to its partner clinics. Our investment in marketing, analytics, operations and finance are deeper and more comprehensive than our competitors and essential in keeping our co-owners satisfied with our performance.
- A deep commitment to core values – most recently manifested in the creation of a VPP Assistance Fund, funded by employees to support employees and their families affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

- State Veterinary Board License must be in good standing for the state in which they intend to be hired, prior to their start date.
