A.P.A.W. Veterinary Hospital is seeking a full-time/part-time veterinarian to join our team. We are an AAHA Accredited and AAFP Certified Cat-Friendly practice located in the Washington, DC-metro area in Lanham, Maryland – just 15 minutes outside the city. We have a well-established clientele and continue to grow and welcome new patients. 

We offer comprehensive veterinary care for small animals (canine, feline, and pocket pets), inclusive of wellness care, medicine, surgery, dentistry, digital radiography, therapeutic laser, and cryosurgery and excellent client service communication. We leverage our close relationships with specialists and emergency practices to enhance the care of our patients.

Compensation: Base salary of $100k -$115k inclusive of a $5k signing bonus in addition to production compensation of 22% on medicine and surgery. You have an opportunity to make up to $130k+. Financial assistance available for relocation to the practicing area.

Work-life Balance: We support our veterinarians and team members in achieving a personal work-life balance that works for them. Veterinary schedules are set and we make every effort to build schedules around the needs of each individual veterinarian. With the exception of special cases, there is no regular on-call, Sunday or holiday responsibilities.
