Seeking a motivated associate who is a good fit for the team. Exclusively equine practice that concentrates heavily on sports medicine, with some general practice medicine involved. We are located in Southern California and serve predominantly racehorses and sport horses. This position involves a good deal of work on the racetrack and supplemental time spent with our show horse clients (predominantly Hunter/Jumper) and local rehabilitation facility. We uphold a high standard of patient care and strongly value innovative medicine. Digital radiology, ultrasound, upper airway endoscopy (both standard and dynamic scopes), and regenerative medicine are just some of the services provided. Associated surgical referral hospital equipped with complete diagnostic capabilities including nuclear scintigraphy and computed tomography.
We are looking for a full-time associate (part time may be considered) who is a team player with strong communication skills. Our practice honors a team based approach with a positive support structure and mentoring. Cases are often shared between doctors due to shared select client/trainer load. Five day work week. Minimal on-call and is split between work days - practice typically averages only 1-3 emergencies per month.
