This position is one of two veterinarian positions within the department and provides high-quality medical care to shelter animals, including dogs, cats and other domestic animals. Our veterinarians provide spay/neuter, and necessary surgical treatment of various medical conditions, herd health oversight, and healthcare maintenance on shelter pets.  Our veterinarians provide humane medical treatment of all animals seen in the shelter and will play a part in the development and maintenance of shelter wellness protocols.  Veterinarians split time between surgical and wellness.  Knowledge of and training in shelter medicine prefer
