NEW PRACTICE - Opening August 2022

Southwest Veterinary Urgent Care provides after-hours care for canine and feline patients without the need for an appointment.  We are a walk-in clinic that primarily treats mild to moderate illnesses and injuries.  Mores serious cases that need surgery or hospitalization are referred to an appropriate facility.  We utilize one doctor at a time with a generous support staff to run as smoothly and efficiently as possible.  We are a paperless practice with cloud-based EMR, digital radiology, full IDEXX lab equipment, and portable ultrasound for AFAST/TFAST. 

We are seeking a part time or relief veterinarian to cover shifts at SVUC. Whether you have emergency experience, more recent graduate, or someone interested in diving into emergency/urgent care, we would love to hear from you!  You will work as the solo doctor on your shift and they are shorter than typical ER shift, allowing you to accomplish other tasks on your work day. Let us know what shifts you want and we will do our best to accommodate.   We are ideally looking for someone who wants to set up a regular relief/part time schedule. 

Applicants must demonstrate professionalism, dependability, healthy and positive communication skills, and the ability to multi-task. We expect our team members to be energetic, open-minded, and team oriented. Must be willing to work some weekends.  Prior emergency/urgent care experience preferred but not required.  State licensure in good standing required.
