Lakeway Veterinary Clinic is a 24/7 animal hospital providing comprehensive pet healthcare services in Lakeway, TX. Nestled in the western corner of Travis County, Lakeway is ideally situated on the south shore of Lake Travis in the scenic Texas Hill Country. Located about 25 miles west of downtown Austin, Lakeway is a resort style community with a 65-mile long lake, 100 acres of parkland and trails, and nearly 500 acres of greenbelts. It is considered one of the finest small cities in the Austin metro area. Families are drawn to the “lake lifestyle” with endless recreational activities including tennis, golf, hiking, biking, picnicking and camping, fishing, boating, swimming, and scuba diving, along with Lake Travis ISD’s renowned schools. Led by Dr. Heidi Moore, Lakeway Veterinary Clinic is dedicated to serving the community and providing affordable, compassionate care to the furry, feathery, and slithery among us. We treat our clients like family, which means we take calls day and night. Lakeway Vet is recognized by the AAHA Standards of Accreditation. We are held to stringent standards focusing on you and your pet FIRST! The facility includes a well-stocked pharmacy, top of the line surgery suite, in-house x-ray capabilities and laser therapy, a closely supervised hospitalization area, extensive in-house laboratory, as well as on-site grooming and boarding options. To complement our doctors, we have an experienced support staff and a strong leadership team to help in your success to deliver the best care to each pet and pet owner!
DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA accredited veterinary school
Active, non-restricted TX Veterinary License (or ability to obtain)
Proficient in performing surgical and dental procedures preferred
Comfort or desire to grow in the surgery suite (soft tissue, dental extractions, spay/neuter, etc.)
A passion for building a trusting relationship with clients, colleagues, and community
Committed to ongoing personal education and assist in leading the development of others
Be the most trusted partner in pet care using strong communication and interpersonal skills
