Are you looking for the right practice to settle into? Maybe that dream job offer didn't work out, or you’re a recent grad still looking for mentorship. Or the work/life balance you were hoping for tilted way too far on the work side.
If you’re looking for a practice to call home, choose Aqueduct Animal Hospital. Here are just a few of the many reasons why you’ll be glad you did.
90-day satisfaction guarantee. In your first 90 days, you will receive $100 per hour as a relief vet. After 90 days, if we're both happy, you'll be paid at least $100,000 per year plus generous production bonuses. By then, you'll have accumulated a $20,000 (for full time) no-gimmick bonus to keep, even if you decide on day 91 that we're not a good fit. After you're officially hired, you'll never have to worry about a non-compete.
When we say we have a great culture, we can back that up. We have testimonies from numerous relief vets who have enjoyed working with us and want to work with us again. Our long-term employees are satisfied with their jobs and are passionate about patient care.
A generous benefits package. It includes a gold-level health insurance plan, dental, vision, mental health benefits and gym membership benefits to name a few. You'll also receive paid time off, sick days, continuing education, dues, fees, and a generous pet policy.
No Sunday hours and just a half-day on Saturday. We’ll work with you to create a schedule that makes sense for us both. You won't be working every Saturday if you don't want to. Flexible scheduling.
No After hours. Not on call. We refer cases to two local 24 hour ERs within 20 minutes of our facility. If we have a problem with a boarded pet, we may reach out to you, but you can refer to one of our local ER services.
Great relationship with our local specialists. We have a local radiologist who will read our radiographs or come to the practice to perform a thorough ultrasound when necessary. We have a great long term relationship with our local specialty hospital. You are never alone at Aqueduct Animal Hospital.
But that's not all. If you're thinking to yourself, "I don't want to be just an associate" we will offer the right candidate ownership in the hospital. If you are the right person, we will set up a transparent path for ownership and eventual exit strategy.
So why Aqueduct Animal Hospital?
We have three experienced vets who work together on difficult cases. We have a new 14,000 sq. ft facility that is designed for staff, client, and patient comfort. We have ample room for you to have your own office, the ability to add new services, a staff who enjoys learning and growth, and a no-drama policy that weeds out the toxic staff members and associates. Our management team regularly checks in with our staff members to sort out issues before they become a problem. When problems arise, we address them in a consistent and fair manner. We're also a very fun and mature group of people to work with.
We're looking for the right veterinarian...
And we're willing to show you that we're the best practice for you, no strings attached. You have nothing to lose, except maybe your corporate overlords, feelings of burn out, or anxiety over the lack of support you receive from your colleagues or management.
We're looking for a candidate with:
A positive attitude
Excellent client and staff communication skills
Surgical and dental surgery skills
Ability to work as a team on complex cases
A strong desire for modern diagnostics and treatment modalities
Ability to work with clients, from top tier clients as well as helping those who need help. This requires being able to manage and treat cases with plans "a, b, and c."
