VCA All Pets Hospital located in San Francisco, CA is looking for a Medical Director who enjoys practicing advanced medicine with a cohesive, tenured team.

We have been serving cats, dogs, and exotic pets in San Francisco, California, since 1968. Our goal is to promote the highest standards in veterinary medicine providing our clients with the very best in medicine, preventative care, surgery, dental care, emergency, complete diagnostics, and everything needed to keep pets happy and healthy. We are an AAHA hospital and are working towards our Fear Free Certification.

We’re looking for a full-time doctor, and schedule includes approximately 4 days a week (Mon-Fri) with a rotating shortened day on Saturday. We’re open from 7am-7pm on weekdays and 8am-6pm on Saturdays.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a motivated veterinarian to continue practicing medicine while establishing the direction and medical quality of the hospital like a practice owner. Plus, you'll have the solid backing of experts in Operations, Marketing, Human Resources, Payroll, and more, to help you succeed. 

Located in beautiful San Francisco, CA, our hospital is commutable with public transportation from the East Bay with Bart and Muni stations within just a few blocks. There are plenty of local restaurants nearby, and Target (with CVS inside) and Rainbow Grocery are just around the corner. San Francisco has endless outdoor activities and sights to visit. You can also drive up or down the coast for a weekend getaway from the city. Our team in particular loves to go on team outings, from roller skating at The Church of 8 Wheels to potluck picnics at Hellman's Hollow in Golden Gate Park.

We have associates from all over the Bay Area that come into work (San Francisco, Oakland, Daly City, Pacifica, etc.) and don't mind the commute at all. There is all-day parking within a 1-2 block radius of the hospital and employees are always able to find something.
