Nipomo Dog & Cat Hospital is a rapidly growing dog & cat practice. Our busy hospital is located on the beautiful Central Coast of California. Our small town of Nipomo has topped the list as one of the best weather climates in the nation. We are also home to The Guadalupe-Nipomo Dunes, it is the largest intact coastal dune ecosystem on Earth! We are conveniently located close to Pismo & Avila Beaches, Morro Bay & Santa Ynez, with Santa Barbara only an hour away. It’s also a short drive to Downtown San Luis Obispo that offers fantastic restaurants and shopping. We take pride in our professionalism & high standard of care but have fun too! We frequently have staff activities, including grilled cheese smack downs, after work happy hours. Our modern & well-equipped hospital includes digital radiographs, digital dental radiographs, in-house laboratory, & ultrasound. Our experienced Medical Director is also excited to provide mentorship and guidance.

To continue providing the best medicine to our community, we are seeking a FT or PT Associate DVM to join our current 2 Doctor team. The ideal candidate would be friendly, compassionate, and motivated to care for pets and people. A good sense of humor with a high level of professionalism would be optimal, along with a commitment to practicing the highest standards of patient care in general medicine & surgery. Diagnostic experience with ultrasound and good surgical skills a plus, but the freedom to pursue your niche in veterinary medicine is encouraged. New(er) graduates are welcome to apply and will be considered.
