AAHA-accredited 4 doctor small animal hospital in Norman, Oklahoma is looking for a PT or FT associate for general practice and daytime urgent care. We have a great support team including 6 licensed RVTs, many experienced veterinary assistants, superb front office staff, and truly motivated clients and awesome patients. We have a visiting boarded surgeon and radiologist that practice with us weekly, which is a great benefit to our clients and patients, as they don't need to travel far to get the best care.
We see dogs, cats, and for those inclined to see them, also small house pets including, rabbits, ferrets, small rodents, various reptiles, and birds. Though we believe in being there for our clients and patients, we also value our time off and sanity, so a 4-day work week is our norm. We refer all after-hours emergencies to our trusted emergency medicine colleagues. However, for those interested in urgent care, we are considering a position that would see all the urgent care patients.
Benefits include a competitive salary, health insurance, 401k with a 4% match, paid vacation leave, paid parental leave, paid license fees and professional dues, and paid CE. We do not ask you to sign a contract, but we do offer a relocation stipend. We are located in a beautiful new state-of-the-art building.
