The Humanitarians of Florida is a non-profit 501-C3 small animal clinic in Lecanto, Florida. We have been in business since the 1980s as a strictly walk-in vaccine and spay and neuter clinic. Over the years we have progressed and expanded our capabilities to many other aspects of the veterinary field.
Along with continuing our walk-in vaccines, we offer scheduled surgical & medical appointments throughout the day. We have a digital radiography machine and In-house Idexx lab stations to perform a variety of tests in-house. We also use their reference lab for specific panels, histopathology, and so forth while continuing with our mission to vaccinate, spay, and neuter.
We are open Monday - Friday until 5pm
****NO nights or weekends****
*We are willing to accept a schedule on a month-to-month basis. We can accommodate almost every schedule.
We provide procedures and inventory items at cost, health insurance options, and paid time off, and will also help with the expense of certain licenses and CE. We do require all veterinarians to carry their own liability insurance. We are looking for a veterinarian to join our team and help continue our growth within the community. For anyone with a major commute, we do offer housing options.
