 Veterinarian wanted for an exclusively small animal practice in Sudbury, Massachusetts.  We seek a personable, client-education oriented individual who is interested in both medicine and surgery.  Our clientele is willing to support extensive work-ups for their dogs and cats.  Our doctors are happy to mentor a new or recent graduate.

Our Hospital:

Sudbury Animal Hospital is a family owned, multi-doctor practice.  We have been in business since 1987.  We pride ourselves on having a happy, collaborative, work environment and good work-life balance for all of our employees.  Our support staff boasts 5 certified veterinary technicians, along with experienced receptionists and assistants.  We enjoy low employee turnover.

Hospital Amenities:

* Extensive in house laboratory

* Digital radiography and digital dental radiography

*Electronic medical records using Cornerstone software

*Class IV laser

*Traveling cardiologist and internal medicine specialists who come in weekly to perform our echocardiograms and abdominal ultrasounds

*Traveling board certified surgeon to perform orthopedic and complex soft tissue surgery 

Our Town:

Sudbury is an affluent community, located 25 miles west of Boston.  It has excellent schools and lots of fields and conservation land to enjoy.  It has easy access to hiking trails, bike paths, and ponds, lakes and rivers for swimming, fishing and boating.  It is close to many fine restaurants, shopping, outlets and entertainment centers.  It is a short drive to New Hampshire skiing, the beaches of Cape Cod, and all that Boston has to offer.

Salary and Benefits:

*Excellent salary

*Four day work week with no emergency call and working only one in four Saturdays 8-12

*Closed on major holiday weekends

*All fees associated with state licensing, federal DEA license, state controlled substance license, AVMA dues, and professional liability insurance

Must have an interest in surgery.  We are willing to mentor new graduates.
