We are an independent practice, looking for an associate veterinarian to join our three veterinarian team in a small animal exclusive, full service hospital in southcentral PA. We provide compassionate and comprehensive care for pets and their owners. New graduates or experienced veterinarians are welcome to apply. NO after hours emergency duty required. Pursuit of special interests is welcomed and encouraged. You must possess confidence, good communication skills, have strong moral character, work well with doctors, support staff and clients and be open to new ideas and approaches to provide excellent care for our clients. Benefits include competitive salary ($90k-$120k+ possible), potential for production bonuses, two weeks/year PTO, health insurance stipend, gym membership, paid license, liability and continuing education fees, 401K retirement account and possible profit sharing.
We are located in scenic southcentral PA, 20 miles from historic Gettysburg, 10 miles from the Appalachian Trail. Large metropolitan areas such as Baltimore and Washington DC are conveniently accessible with a 1.5 hour commute.

Case load includes comprehensive health care for wellness and sick animal exams, surgery and dentistry. Equipment to assist in these endeavors includes in house lab equipment, digital radiology, ultrasound, surgical and therapeutic laser, endoscopy/rhinoscopy.
Responsibilities include:
-Performing comprehensive physical examinations and diagnostic/medical/surgical/dental procedures that deliver the highest quality care while minimizing patient stress and discomfort.
-Building rapport with clients by gathering information and listening to their concerns.
-Communicating with clients on topics such as pet diagnosis, treatment plans, preventative health care and nutritional needs.
-Maintaining client/patient medical/surgical records through established protocols.
-Staying current on new medical information and changes in veterinary medicine.
-Assisting in the development of the paraprofessional team to ensure delivery of the highest quality medicine and exceptional client service.
-Presenting a positive image of the hospital in the professional community and the general public.
Skills and Basic Qualifications:
-A DVM or related degree from an accredited university.
-Licensure in good standing to practice in PA.
-Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics.
