Pacific Pet Hospital is seeking a Part-time Veterinarian with at least 2 years of experience to join our team for 3-4 days a week. 

We are a long-standing, privately-owned Veterinary Practice located in the rapidly growing community of Chula Vista, California (10 miles south of downtown San Diego). 

Our mission statement is to diagnose before treatment and resolve the problem in the fastest way, with the least discomfort for the pet, and minimal owner inconvenience. You will be supported by a staff of RVTs and Certified Veterinary Assistants, allowing you to do the work of a licensed Veterinarian.   We have a diverse offering of services, such as 30-minute office calls, Telehealth Medicine through video calls and chats, and Nurse Appointments, under the supervision of a doctor, for common problems.

We have over 3,000 clients that use our app, Pet Desk, and we utilize an online booking tool so clients can book appointments 24/7.

About the Practice:

• Privately owned practice in a growing community with a new Amazon warehouse, new bayfront project, and multiple new housing developments
• Evidence-based medicine with a focus on evolving technologies and staff continuing education
• Doctors are supported by a nurse ratio of 1:4
• Doctor exams are 30 minutes
• Telehealth consultations
• Nurse appointments, under the supervision of a veterinarian, for common problems, allowing the doctor to focus on more complicated exams
• 2 certified telehealth doctors on staff
• Full in-hospital technology; lab/digital x-rays/ultrasound/advanced surgical equipment
