Veterinary Student Externship
Want to know if small animal emergency medicine is right for you? We are excited to have you join us and find out! We are a busy practice an hour outside of Chicago, with ER, Internal Medicine, and Rehab. We utilize our highly skilled nurses to their fullest potential. Students will get experience in many types of ER cases including traumas, IMHA/ITP, surgeries, and many, many others. There is an opportunity for students to rotate through our Internal Medicine and Rehab departments where you will see scopes, ultrasounds/CT, underwater treadmill, and more. Externships typically last 2-3 weeks, but can be adjusted upon request. As a 24/7 hospital scheduling is flexible.
