Job Description: As an Associate Veterinarian at All Pets Center, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional veterinary care to our community's beloved pets. Our loyal and long-term clientele is continuously supplemented by new client visits, helping All Pets Center stay busy, grow, and thrive. Our practice is dedicated to fostering a positive and collaborative work environment, and we are seeking a passionate veterinarian to join our team in a full or part time position. Any experience level will be considered.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive medical examinations of small animals to diagnose and treat illnesses, injuries, and other health conditions.
Develop and implement effective treatment plans, including prescribing medications, recommending surgery, and advising on other therapeutic interventions.
Perform surgical procedures, including spaying/neutering, dental surgeries, and other routine and complex surgeries.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood work, X-rays, and ultrasounds, to aid in accurate diagnoses.
Communicate effectively with pet owners, discussing treatment plans, providing education on pet care, and addressing any concerns or questions.
Collaborate with other veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and support staff to ensure comprehensive and effective patient care.
Stay informed about the latest developments in veterinary medicine through continuous learning and professional development.
Requirements:
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or Veterinary Medical Doctor (VMD) degree.
State veterinary license in good standing.
Proficient in performing routine surgical procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
