Santa Fe Animal Shelter in beautiful Santa Fe, New Mexico is currently seeking a Shelter Clinic Veterinarian to provide high-quality humane medical care to shelter animals, including spay/neuter procedures, a variety of surgical procedures, treatment of a wide range of medical conditions, and herd health maintenance. Implements shelter medical protocols as established by the Medical Director and delivers and ensures humane medical treatment of all animals seen in the Shelter Clinic.  The shelter sees approx. 4500 animals per year including intake, animals in foster care, and owned animals reclaimed. Non-profit, non-municipal shelter.  Working for us provides the ability for student loan forgiveness with the PSLF. DVM degree, Licensed DVM in NM, or able to obtain licensure, DEA, State Controlled License required. Current Drivers License.
