Ark Animal Hospital is looking for its future veterinarian! We are a locally-owned, non-corporate AAHA accredited hospital in the Kansas City metro area.

Mentorship: The owner is on site and will work with you on challenging cases every day. We have four full time veterinarians to give you support in surgery and with difficult cases. We believe our veterinarians are investments and want to see them grow and improve.

Work/Life Balance: We have support staff/vet ratio of 5:1. This means no time spent after hours or over lunch working on medical records or making phone calls. Our full time vets all work under 40 hours per week and have the option of a 4 day work week. No after hour emergencies and no on call. Family and personal time are important to us and the professions sustainability.

Fun Caseload: We have advanced diagnostics (digital radiography, ultrasonography, echocardiography, arthroscopy, thermography, blood and urine lab machines), treatments (chemotherapy, regenerative medicine, rehabilitation and underwater treadmill), and progressive soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries (including the new CBLO technique for cruciate disease) are all available. We are constantly looking for ways to improve our gold standard medicine and enjoy getting to work up the challenging cases instead of simply referring them.

Certifications: Rehabilitation (CCRP and CCRT), pain management (IVAPM), AAHA and Cat Friendly Gold Practice.
